Run Parallel After Conversion: When running Convert While Active, a parallel file is created that undergoes the conversion, then is automatically synchronized with your production system as transactions occur until you decide to “go live.” This allows you to conduct extensive pre-live training, testing and auditing on the new release for as long as you wish. The following diagram illustrates how Convert While Active synchronizes both your production file and the parallel conversion file when transactions occur.
