Team Computing Says "Now is the time to build up your business!"

New, larger facility ready for next growth spurt

Sydney, NSW, 18th November, 2008 - Team Computing Australia emphatically demonstrates its commitment to Australia's recovery and future by moving to larger premises to cater for expected demand. "It's a bit strange watching seasoned business people acting as if this is the first or worst downturn they've ever seen" mused Peter Sanderson, the MD of the Company. "We've been watching market rises and falls since about 1985, and there are two certainties. The downturn will end - we think it's a matter of months not years. Secondly, there are great deals out there right now - from computer hardware and service companies like ours and in almost every other business area as well. Every aspect of the move to our new head office cost us far less than it would have only a year ago".

Team has moved its head office to 156 Pacific Highway, St Leonards. The new location, more than 60% larger than the last, accommodates the sustained growth of Team's business areas such as high availability & recovery, and infrastructure solutions & services. Along with the move to the new office, Team Computing has a new logo. The new logo reflects Team's belief that all the best systems have a solid base first, then reach into the really high return areas. And anyway, the old logo looked daggy on our website.

"The new office space is more than we need right now, but the deals are irresistible, and we expect the pent-up demand from about February '09 to have us almost wishing we'd bought more!" Said Sanderson. "If there has to be slowdown, this is the best time of year for it. The holiday season is virtually upon us at which time business overall slows down anyway. We've been at this so long, we knew the boom would slow sooner or later, so we kept the overheads well under control, and can easily fund our way through this. As always happens, downturns end with a burst of spending activity. We want to be well set-up to take full advantage of it".

The Company will continue to grow the areas of system-business assessments, implementations, and solutions for ERP, EDI and High Availability / Disaster Recovery. Team Computing has expanded its offerings to include other support & managed service offerings - such as remote backup and recovery for small to medium sized businesses as well as introducing replication, hosting, and monitoring solutions for customers and prospects.
