The Scotts Company, is the world's leader in do-it-yourself lawn and garden consumer products, with a full range of products for professional horticulture as well. The family of trusted brands includes Scotts, Miracle-Gro and Ortho, as well as specialty brands Osmocote, Hyponex and Earthgro. They are also the exclusive worldwide marketing agent for the consumer Roundup brand, owned by Monsanto, and offer products for professional horticulture.

Beyond Commerce has been heavily involved with the Australian arm of this company, Scotts Australia, driving and implementing e-Business systems initiatives to perform the following:
  • Electronic receipt and processing of customer orders (via both internet and EDI)
  • Electronic communication of Pickers, Pick Confirmation, Invoices between Scotts, its remote warehouse operations and certain customers
  • Automated integration of all electronic transactions with Scotts back-end (ERP) system
  • Production of product Labels according to Coles-Myer requirements
  • Automated interfacing to Warehouse Scanning/Packing software to allow enhanced operations at its warehouse facilities.
We have also taken a lead role in e-enabling certain warehouses to cater for these requirements. Our roles with this organisation have included the following:
